KC-46A Pegasus – Strategic Tanker (USAF)
This mod introduces the advanced Boeing KC-46A Pegasus to Sea Power, delivered in a comprehensive dual-configuration package. It features highly detailed, historically matched configurations and liveries representing active United States Air Force.
The package splits the Pegasus into two distinct tactical variants (Boom and WARP) to accurately simulate modern aerial refueling operations, complete with authentic tail flashes, precise serial numbers, and custom tactical callsigns for enhanced mission realism. All featured squadrons include liveries for both the standard Boom and the tactical WARP variants.

1. Boom Only Variant
Role: Single-aircraft capability refueling operations primarily supporting USAF receivers using the fly-by-wire boom.

2. WARPs Variant
Role: Equipped with Wing Aerial Refueling Pods (WARP) and multi-segmented hose/drogue systems, supporting simultaneous 3-aircraft refueling to support Navy, Marine Corps, or NATO carrier-borne fighter units.

■ Operational Notes:
Hose Deployment: By default, the WARP variant spawns with its hose lines deployed. You can manually cycle or retract the lines by pressing F10 and go to Testmode and using the animation controls, allow you to extend and retract both or only one side (You have to manually choose from animations).
To extend the Refueling boom, from the test mode, run the "Refueling_Extend" animation. To retract, run the "Refueling_Retract" animation.
Refueling Parameters: To be more realistic, receiving aircraft must maintain a formation within a maximum distance of 1 nautical miles from the tanker at a tactical speed of 500 knots or less.
