Bring beekeeping-style crafting to your run: forage wild hives and insects, build cultivated beehives, manage queens and smokers, craft wax goods, brew mead, make cheese, and preserve food with wax-coating.

🐝 Wild + cultivated beekeeping — forage wild beehives, wasp nests, honeycombs, queen bees, and pine needles, then progress into fully renewable cultivated hives.
👑 Hive management — use a Bee Smoker, insert queens, prepare queen larvae, raise replacement queens, and manage hives through a custom UI.
🍯 Hive products — collect honeycombs, bees, wasps, larvae, wax, papery hive scraps, propolis, and royal jelly.
⚠️ Risk & protection — unsmoked hives trigger angry swarms and sting effects; smoking and protective gear make handling safer.
🕯️ Wax crafting — candles, crayons, dye pastes, and paper from hive materials.
🌲 Resin & adhesives — press raw resin, cook refined resin, and craft sticky resin, tape, and paintbrushes.
🧀🍺 Food & preservation — make cheese curds/wheels, brew mead, craft honey poultices, and wax-coat foods for extended storage.
📖 Character content — Beekeeper profession/trait, Apiphobia trait, and a Beekeeping Magazine for advanced hive recipes.

🔎 Foraging — focus on Insects in forests, deep forests, vegetation, and farmland zones.
🐝 Wild hive route — loot or forage wild hives and nests for wax, honey, larvae, and scraps to begin crafting immediately.
📖 Magazine route — find a Beekeeping Magazine in bookstores, libraries, newsstands, classrooms, and post offices to unlock cultivated hive recipes.
🍎 Looting — wasp nests are very rare but can appear in produce storage, crates, clutter furniture, gloveboxes, and vehicle trunks.

Crack open Wild Beehives for honeycombs, honeybees, papery hive scraps, and honeybee larvae.
Crack open Wasp Nests for wasps, papery hive scraps, and wasp larvae.
⚠️ Unsmoked hives and nests can trigger angry swarms and sting effects.
💨 Smoke them first with a Lit Bee Smoker for safer processing.
Honeycombs are sealed fluid containers of honey — open with a sharp tool, drain the honey, then crush the empty comb for wax bits.

Build a Cultivated Beehive and manage it through a custom hive panel and right-click menu.
👑 Insert a Queen Bee to start producing honeycombs, bees, and larvae.
🍯 Productive hives can also yield Propolis.
🐣 Prepare Queen Larvae from larvae, royal jelly, and empty comb — then raise replacement queens in-hive.
✨ A full, queenless cultivated hive can produce Royal Jelly.
🌤️ Hive output responds to nearby flowers, biome density, weather, and temperature.

📜 Turn papery hive scraps into Paper.
🌲 Press Raw Resin, cook Refined Resin, and craft Sticky Tape Rolls, Fibrous Hive Tape, and a Pine Needle Paintbrush.
🧀🍺 Brew Mead, make Cheese Curds and Cheese Wheels, and craft a Honey Poultice.
🧴 Wax-coat vegetables, fruits, meats, and cheese for longer storage — then unwax them later to recover the item.

🍎 Wasp Nests (loot) — very rare in produce storage, crates, clutter tables, gloveboxes, seats, and trunks.
