This mod improves handling and some characteristics of vanilla cars. They didn’t become Formula 1 cars, but they became a little more usable.

max.speed 140km/h, 3-speed high-performance automatic transmission, 600 slots, wheel size 7×7
Damage from collision with obstacles or from excessively high engine RPM are disabled. Cars can be shot or drowned (but drowning will have to significantly longer than with the vanilla damage system). This mod has no effect on the damage settings of third-party vehicles.
Version of this mod with a vanilla damage system: VanillaCarsUp
dbo_surfaces mod will improve the grip of wheels with various surfaces. Perhaps this is unnecessary.
FlipTransport mod will help (in most cases) a player deal with a stuck car (including between two objects), flipped over or glued to a texture without involving an administrator.
