Taban steel weaponry
Taban, also known as Wootz and Horasan, is a subtype of Damascus steel. It is known for its strength, sharpness, and characteristic banded microstructure. It originated by at least the mid-1st millennium BCE and was widely exported across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
This mod adds a new weapon grade – Taban (approximately equal to Edgewalkers Tier 1 blades). New weapons can be:
1) bought from the Scraphouse in the Deadlands;
2) crafted on Weapon Crafting StationIII if you have completed the according research, which requires 4 AI cores, the ‘Advanced Weapon Grades’ and the ‘Advanced Weapon Smithing’.
There’s a chance of critical failure during crafting. In that case, you’ll end up with Mid-Grade salvage.
