Diana the Huntress-Core9
Diana is the sister ship to Minerva. She’s the Roman’s goddess of the Hunt.
The final upgraded version of this ship is designed to have maximum firepower while keeping the ship agile. Diana has upgrade space for 8x heavy cannons, 30 light turrets, 16 medium turrets (Blaster turrets), Large Fusion Reactor and all shield parts. The hull of the ship is made of composite material from carbon to xenosteel. Decoys are buried in the forked bow like Minerva. The main cannons are all housed in the center to keep them from clipping into the ship when you’re fighting at extremely close distance. The laser cannon decoy is pointed forward so if it gets blown up, you can see it go from the weapon bar and you better be retreating at this point. Reverse thrusters are designed to be the highest thrust so you can back away fast. If you’re ever trapped on a 4G planet for any reason, in a pinch you can still take off backward. But getting into that position is a little difficult. I’ve tried it and it works, but not recommended.
Note: The outer two cannons may clip into ship if you’re fighting in 3rd person and set the POV too high. Either move the POV down with PG DN or fight in first person to avoid this.
This ship can be upgraded all the way to Advance Core 17 and 16 crews. For crews, recommended ones would be at least 1 Munition Officer to replace the existing Ammunition Controller. Or replace one of the 640k Storage Controller for the Munition Officer and change the existing one to a Storage Controller. This to hold ammo and also Drones, because Drones takes up a lot of space. A minimum of 1 Medic is recommended, replace the existing Medical equipments with the Medic. As for the other crews, a mix of everything else is fine. Shield Techs or Helmsmen are highly recommended. But any of the combinations of crews is fine.
Power saving controls are built into the first 5 signals. Hot key toggle with Left Ctrl + Left Alt + 1 (through to 5).
Blaster Turrets can be obtained from Overlord POIs in Tesch space, they also salvaged from Titans. The ammo can be looted in the same POI or purchased from Station Services. After adding them, move them to the Blaster Turrets group and assign them to the BlasterOn signal. The idea to keep them separated from the Modulated Lasers is so you can assign the targeting options separately.
Core 9 equipments:
22x Light Plasma Cannon
1x Light cannon turret (Decoy)
1x Light laser cannon (Decoy)
4x Minigun Turrets (Drone control)
2x Light Laser Turrets

1x 320k Ammunition Controller
1x Advance Shield Generator

Astic Scripts are also included in the ship already. Comes with 3 sets of scripts. The control for them are in the signals on the P menu.
Hull = Remove the hull of the ship only
Parts = Recover all components intact
Ingots = Salvage whole ship to ingots. There is a % of loss doing this.
To use scripts (On astics enabled servers) :
1. Put money in the Salvage 1 container (the cost is minimal. 50k goes a long way)
2. Place a normal (green) core on the ship/POI to be salvaged, rename it Core-H-ShipID for Hull script, Core-P-ShipID for Parts and Core-I-ShipID for Ingots. The ShipID is on the bottom left of the statistic page in the P menu of the ship.
3. Make sure that both ships are in the same faction ie. Factioned or Private, both has to be the same.
4. Turn on the signal on Diana’s P menu of the corresponding type. Hull, Parts or Ingots. Turn off when finished.
*Thank you to sulusdacor LCD pack and ArtemisRouge designs. A lot of things are both inspired and learned from Artemis’ designs.
Note: A lot of the pictures are from the Core 17 Version, so it’s showing a lot more weapons than the Core 9 version.
