Ubi habito? (Invictus)
Invictus-compatible UI mod for Imperator: Rome
See where a character is at a glance, then jump straight to that territory on the map.
- Adds the character’s current territory directly to the character window title bar.
- Adds a small eye button in the title bar.
- Clicking the eye centers and zooms the map to that character’s current location.
Instead of stopping to infer where someone is, opening additional views, or manually hunting across the map, you get the answer immediately in the place you are already looking.
- Faster decision-making — check where governors, generals, prisoners, rivals, pretenders, researchers, and other characters actually are without breaking flow.
- Less UI friction — removes several small but repeated steps from character management.
- Better map awareness — one click takes you from the character screen to the relevant province.
- Stronger immersion — characters feel more physically situated in the world instead of existing only as abstract entries in a ledger.
This is a small utility mod, but it improves one of the most common information loops in the game: identifying who a character is, where they are, and moving immediately to that place.
This mod edits the character window UI so that the header displays:
Character Name · Territory Name
It also adds a visible eye icon to that same header. When clicked, it pans the camera to the character’s location, provided the location is valid.
- Quickly locate officeholders and commanders in a large state.
- Track where important family members and political actors reside.
- Move from character management to province-level action with a single click.
- Reduce the sense that characters are detached from the physical geography of the world.
