Description:

A set of Signals and Signage based on current British Rail standards.

Currently includes a versions of:

  • Ground signals for sidings and tunnels
  • Tram signals for streets
  • Standard Home signals
  • Standard Distant signals
  • Speed signage in Roundel and Diamond formats in increments of 5 mph
  • Directional signs with red and amber borders for specific junction speeds
  • A pole for decorative purposes

I intend to update this to include more formats and sets as time progresses.

General advice:

You may need to flip and rotate signage to visually fit the track. Since they are markers it shouldn’t change anything functionally.
There’s an occasional layering issue if trying to use a pole and sign together, where the pole may appear on top. I think this depends on what half of the track segment the signals are on.

There’s an expectation of standards for signals and signs: Signals and signs are placed to the left side of the track unless space limits this. The most restrictive signal aspect (red or amber) should be the bottom most signal in the stack.
Tramway signage can be placed in the middle, as is common when the OHLE support posts are between both tracks. Their signals however remain on the left.
