Description:

Itemization Overhaul — Sets

Diablo 2 style item sets for Itemization Overhaul. Top-tier weapons and apparel can drop as part of a named set — collect and wear matching pieces to unlock bonuses that grow stronger with each piece, capped by a glowing battlefield aura when the full set is worn.

How sets drop
  • Sets roll only on Ancestral and Relic rarity gear, so a set piece always carries a strong base item.
  • Among eligible items, the set-drop chance (Mod Settings, default 12%) decides whether it joins a set.
  • Works on any affixable gear — vanilla clothing, marine armor, and apparel/weapons from other mods.
  • Each set is a 4-piece set; equip matching pieces across your apparel layers and weapon to complete it.

The ten sets

Each set blends Diablo and RimWorld lore, with bonuses themed to its name and its own capstone aura.

Relic sets

A set piece that rolled at Relic rarity makes the whole set count as relic-rarity, granting an extra +25% to every set bonus you have equipped. In the Health tab a relic set reads "Set Name (4/4 ✦)".

Display & tooltips
  • Set pieces are tagged with a green set label on the ground, above the Core mod’s rarity card.
  • Every tooltip lists each piece-threshold bonus on its own line, the capstone aura with its exact radius, and a full-set total.
  • The Health tab shows the set as "Set Name (X/4)", climbing as you add pieces.

Part of the Itemization Overhaul suite
  • Itemization Overhaul – Core (required) — the affixed gear & rarity system that sets build on.
  • Runes & Socketables (optional) — gives every set item a standardized socket count, D2-style.
  • Stats & Levels (optional) — adds Isekai equip level/stat requirements, so endgame sets feel earned.

All three layer onto the same item independently: one marine armor can be a set piece, carry sockets, and demand a level — while still showing its Itemization Overhaul affixes.

Requirements
  • Itemization Overhaul – Core
  • Harmony

A tunable set-drop chance is available in the mod settings. Set membership is rolled once when an item is created and saved with it forever.
