Itemization Overhaul – Jewelry & Charms

An addon for Itemization Overhaul – Core that brings Diablo 2 style jewelry to RimWorld — amulets, twin rings, and inventory-borne charms, each rolling from an exclusive new affix pool found nowhere else in the suite, crowned by Uniques, Mythics, and the double-edged rite of Sanctification.
Three new slots, all D2-faithful, all conflict-free with your existing armor:
- Amulet — one neck slot, invisible when worn, never fights with clothing or armor.

- Twin Rings — two ring slots, one per hand. A third is refused at equip time.

- Charms (small / large / grand) — carved wooden talismans that work from a pawn’s inventory. No slot needed — but attention is finite. Each pawn has an attunement budget (default 6 points: small=1, large=2, grand=3, strongest charms prioritized).
Worn jewelry inherits the full Core machinery — White → Legendary → Ancestral → Relic, corruption, cleansing, faction relics, Stats and Levels requirements, the lot. Charms roll the same tiers but carry only the new affix pool.
Found nowhere else in the suite. Capped at 2 per piece (a third only via Sanctification). Rungs run Lesser → Normal → Greater → Artifact → Divine ✦.
- Psychic — Archotech Resonance (+psylink), Skipstone Sigil (grants Skip), Stormcaller’s Knot (cast-on-strike), Vengeful Echo, Resonant Core (boosts Core’s auras), Lucid Channel.
- Beast & Nature — Wildspeaker’s Call (animals seek the bearer, auto-tame), Peacebringer’s Mark (no rot, no corpse horror).
- Combat procs — Cruorseeker (lifesteal), Neural Siphon, Rendmark (open wounds), Sunderstrike (crushing blow), Terrorweave (flee on hit), Thornheart (reflect).
- Defense — Glacier Ward (cannot be staggered), Lumen Thread (sheds light), Deathless Knot (a killing blow downs instead), Vital Spring (passive regen).
- Fortune — Fortunate Star (better loot rolls from kills), Gilded Tongue (silver spills from slain humanlikes).
- Charm-only — Waystone Fragment (+move, faster caravans), Hearthglow Ember (+mood).
- Pure curses — eight Necromancer / Elden Ring marks that exist only on Desecrated jewelry.
- Isekai compat — five more (Starlit Lattice, Otherworlder, Second Sky, plus two curses) when ISEKAI RPG LEVELING is active.
A relic-tier roll has a chance to manifest as a Unique (default 20%) — fixed name, fixed loadout, multi-sentence flavor: The Archon’s Kaleidoscope (Mara’s), Wrath of the High Stellarch (Highlord’s), Corvusfrost (Raven Frost), The Prospector’s Band (Nagelring), Will-o’-Glow (Wisp Projector), and twelve more.
Above them stand the Mythics — pre-sanctified, two Divine ✦ affixes plus a third at Artifact, total immunity to further meddling.

The Archonexus Shard (after Annihilus) — a mythic small charm. Divine Archotech Resonance, Divine Hearthglow Ember, Artifact Fortunate Star. Burns like a captive star.

Torch of the Burning Throne (after Hellfire Torch) — a mythic large charm. Divine Stormcaller’s Knot, Divine Resonant Core, Artifact Vengeful Echo. Salvaged from a throne room that burned for eleven days.
Both are single-carry: a pawn may bear only one of each identity. A second copy refuses its bearer, on the ground and in the float menu alike.

Bring Legendary-or-better jewelry before the Luminary Cube. Spend one Relic Dust. Ask the lattice to sing.
- Success (default 65%) — one affix is elevated to Divine ✦, 35% chance the piece gains a third affix, and the piece becomes immutable. It can never be rerolled, corrupted, cleansed, or sanctified again.
- Failure — the piece is DESECRATED. There is no undoing this.

A desecrated piece binds to its bearer: it cannot be removed, cannot be cleansed, will not come off until death. Its affixes flip to curse forms, and the rite always carves at least one fresh curse mark beside them — drawn from a pool inspired by the Necromancer curses of Diablo 2 and the rot, flame, and blood of Elden Ring:
- Iron Maiden — the bearer takes a share of the melee damage they deal.
- Mark of Amplification — all damage taken is amplified.
- Decrepitude — move and work speed slowed.
- Weakness — melee damage output drops.
- Sundered Ward — all armor ratings reduced.
- Scarlet Rot — an unhealing rot creeps through the bearer. Lethal if it completes.
- The Frenzied Flame — chance to burst into flame when struck.
- Hemorrhage — old scars reopen on their own.
A blood-red curse mark floats above any pawn bearing desecrated jewelry — one mark per cursed item. Forcing a pawn to wear or pick one up opens a confirmation dialog first, and pawns will never put cursed gear on by their own choice.
With ISEKAI RPG LEVELING active, jewelry reaches into its aura and constellation systems:
- Five new affixes — Starlit Lattice (+constellation node bonuses), Chronicle of the Otherworlder (+Isekai XP), Fragment of the Second Sky (bearer counts as holding a star fragment — a second constellation may be entered), plus two matching curses.
- Sanctified jewelry adds +10% constellation potency per piece and turns the Isekai aura gilded — gold-washed flames, calm and steady.
- Desecrated jewelry drains constellation potency and corrupts the aura blood-red — dark accents, frantic jitter, a flame that looks wrong.
- Core — hard dependency. Worn jewelry uses Core’s tiers, corruption, cleansing, and faction relics.
- Stats and Levels — worn jewelry receives level/VIT requirements automatically.
- Runes & Socketables — jewelry takes no sockets. D2-faithful.
- Sets — jewelry never rolls set membership.
- Uniques & Mythics — high-tier jewelry drops can spark expedition chains in that addon.
- Royalty DLC — six psychic affixes unlock with Royalty; the mod is fully playable without it.
