HLD 62 Infrabel
This mod contains repaints for the HLD 62 diesel locomotive in service of Infrabel, the Belgian rail infrastructure manager.
ATTENTION: This mod requires the original HLD 55 & 62 mod by [PA-D] DJulesCMN!
Included are 3 different variations:
- The original yellow livery with old Infrabel logo
- The modern blue livery with original head- and taillights
- The current blue livery with LED head- and taillights and third headlight
The yellow version is available as from 2007, the blue versions as from 2011.
This mod is dedicated to my father, who was a signalling engineer at Infrabel (and NMBS before) during his entire career.
He was diagnosed with ALS (or MND), a rare terminal neurodegenerative disease, a few days after his official retirement date and passed away a year later.
During his last days in hospital, the intensive care unit was adjacent to a railway siding. And right outside his window stood a blue HLD 62 from Infrabel. It was pure coincidence, but I like the idea of the HLD 62 standing guard during his final moments.
