[DA] Polish Faction for RimWorld War 2

A Polish faction expansion for RimWorld based on the amazing RimWorld War 2 created by K4G (required!)
This mod adds a Polish faction inspired by the Polish Armed Forces of the Second World War – year 1939. It includes custom weapons, uniforms, traders, pawns, equipment and faction integration.
Most of the ranged weapons have custom firing sounds. I’ve also made sure these weapons aren’t just a copy paste of the vanilla weapons with new textures. The stats have been adjusted to make the weapons more unique.
The faction itself features pawns with custom polish names and nicknames fitting the ’40s era for both male and female characters. The settlements on the world map have also been adjusted for extra flavour. I even tried to make the raids a bit more interesting by making more types for the raid groups, so you can expect the unexpected.
The faction is neutral to all vanilla factions and K4G Rimworld War 2 factions, but they are tied in a fight on two fronts between Soviet Union and Germany.


























This mod takes some intentional artistic liberties.
While the project is heavily inspired by historical Polish military equipment, prototype and experimental weapons were added to improve gameplay variety and make the faction more enjoyable to play against and alongside.
Without these additions, the faction would feel too limited in my opinion.
If you want to make a translation or a patch or whatever you like, go ahead, just mention me in the credits.

This mod is a basic xml and textures/sounds mod – it should be compatibile with pretty much everything that doesn’t change how weapons and apparel work.
Combat Extended compatibility will be worked on soon, so please be patient, it’s a huge mod and I’m not that familiar with it.
Please be aware that here might be tiny balancing changes in the future.

So far the only issue is that the pawns from the faction don’t wear coats when the temperature is too low. This is because of how parkas work in vanilla. While they should spawn only to fulfill the temperature comfort, it does sometimes spawn pawns in winter gear even when in desert. I’m trying to figure out some solution to this without using any third party mods/frameworks, so for now the random temperature fulfillment for the winter coats is disabled.
