Type 87 RCV "Black Eye"

The Type 87 Reconnaissance Combat Vehicle (RCV) is a Japanese wheeled reconnaissance vehicle developed for the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) to provide rapid scouting and fire support capabilities. Built on a 6×6 chassis and armed with a 25 mm Oerlikon KBA autocannon and a 7.62 mm Type 74 machine gun, the Type 87 combines high road mobility with sufficient firepower to engage light armored vehicles and infantry. Its speed and versatility make it well suited for reconnaissance, screening, and rapid-response missions.
