Voogle Route

Voogle Route extends Voogle Maps: set a destination on the city map as usual, then follow a clear on-ground route line in the world. Works on foot and in vehicles, with optional auto-walk when you’re walking and auto-drive fast travel (time skip) when you’re driving.

Subscribe on Steam Workshop, then enable Voogle Route and LIB BA Player Location in the in-game Mods menu.

Localization: The panel and settings follow your game language — all 22 Big Ambitions interface languages supported.

What’s new in 0.11.10

• Flatbed & hand truck — while pushing delivery cargo, the GPS panel shows AUTO-WALK instead of AUTO-DRIVE
• Delivery job routing — better sync with vanilla delivery missions: stop targets, return-to-depot guidance, and door interact when auto-walk reaches a shop (flatbed/hand truck supported)
• Route colors — foot, vehicle, and indoor line colors persist correctly after save and reload (gear icon on the GPS panel)

Features

• Route line on the ground — neon path from you to your map destination; separate styling on foot vs. in a vehicle
• Subway fallback on foot — optional multi-leg routes when walking cannot cross the city on NavMesh alone (Use subway in mod options)
• Road-aware driving routes — vehicle paths follow the city’s road network instead of cutting across blocks
• Auto-walk — walk the route automatically (WALK ON); includes subway boarding when the route uses the metro
• Auto-drive fast travel — time skip to your destination in a vehicle (AUTO-DRIVE on the panel)
• City map bookmarks — save places, search the list, and set destinations from the map (M)
• Visit history — reopen recent buildings from the GPS or bookmarks header; add any row as a bookmark
• Map DRIVE / WALK shortcuts — quick navigation from a selected building on the city map
• Indoor guidance — route line and auto-walk to the nearest exit when you are inside a building
• City map route display — your active route shown on the full city map (M)
• VOOGLE ROUTE panel — bottom-left, styled like BizPhone apps (ROUTE ON / ROUTE OFF)
• Custom line color — presets or the in-game color picker for foot, vehicle, and indoor routes (gear icon)
• Automatically hidden during subway map selection and when navigation isn’t available
• Does not replace Voogle Maps — adds guidance on top of your map destination

Road network and bridges

Vehicle routing uses an enhanced road graph built from the game’s traffic waypoints — not straight lines across the map.

• Bridge paths — routes can cross the river and use bridge lanes instead of failing or cutting through blocks
• Center deck — improved handling on the elevated downtown deck and connector roads
• Long cross-city drives — better connectivity for trips that span multiple districts (e.g. downtown to industrial areas)
• Guidance is a driving line on the road network, not turn-by-turn lane GPS

How to use

• Subscribe to LIB BA Player Location on Workshop and enable it in Mods.
• Subscribe to Voogle Route and enable it in Mods.
• Open Voogle Maps and set a destination as usual, or open the city map (M) and click to set one.
• On the city map (M): use the BOOKMARKS panel to search, SET a destination, or ADD BOOKMARK by clicking the map.
• Select a building on the map for DRIVE THERE / WALK THERE shortcuts beside the vanilla destination button.
• Tap the clock icon on the GPS panel or bookmarks header for HISTORY — ADD saves a row as a bookmark, SET navigates there.
• On the VOOGLE ROUTE panel: + saves your current position; car routes to your last parked vehicle.
• Use ROUTE ON / ROUTE OFF, AUTO WALK / WALK ON, or in a vehicle tap AUTO-DRIVE for skip-travel.
• Long on-foot trips across districts may show a dashed yellow subway segment — enable Use subway under ESC → Options → Mod if you want this fallback.
• Indoors: use WAY OUT and GET OUT for exit guidance (enable indoor options under Mods if needed).
• Tap the gear on the panel header for route colors (also available under Mods in the main menu).

Compatibility

• Game: Big Ambitions EA 0.11 Experimental
• Required mod: LIB BA Player Location (separate Workshop item — subscribe and enable before Voogle Route)
• Setup: Enable both mods in the Mods menu
• Saves: Reads your map destination only; bookmarks and visit history stored in mod data; does not alter progression

Known limitations

• On foot, routes use walkable NavMesh areas; subway is a fallback when a full walk path is unavailable (disable in mod options to turn off)
• No route line displayed during an active subway ride (vanilla camera sequence)
• Vehicle routes are guidance lines, not lane-perfect GPS
• A few rare road segments may still need graph updates in future releases
