Hag Rework
Here is the All in one version
The boss fights in DD are simple, where each boss has a gimmick that they fight with. My goal is to make the fights have something more to them than just one gimmick & high hp, so that the bosses take more strategy to beat. They will be more difficult to beat, but yield better rewards, including new trophy trinkets dropped by the apprentice and veteran versions of the boss.
Hag will now spice one of your heroes first and then cook that hero. If the cauldron is empty at the end of a turn, it will spill and blight/debuff your team. Releasing a hero from the pot will relieve your party reducing their stress, but watching their allies get cooked alive will result in a more stressful fight. On occasion Hag might even force feed the hero being cooked alive to you!
What has changed?
Most of Hag’s skills have been added on to and a few new skills have been added to the fight.
A Full Cauldron will invigorate hag and make her deal more damage, but it will also make your party furious increasing the damage you deal.
Hag will spice you before cooking you, because that just makes sense, right?
Seeing your ally get freed from the cauldron will relieve your whole party of some stress.
Hag’s skill pool will change as her hp decreases. She will start to eat after she has lost a bit of hp and eventually will get furious enough to grind the meat off of your bones.
Hag’s HP has been increased by 33% to make the fight last a while longer.
Into The Pot!
Now only targets marked heroes
Tenderize
Added Stress damage
Season to Perfection
Hag will use this skill first each round if there is no hero in the pot.
Will now mark a hero and reduce their dodge.
Taste The Stew

Feeding Time!
Hag will force feed your allies to you, inflicting horror and blight on the fed hero while healing them.
Meat Grinder
Replaces Tenderize below 33% HP
Targets 2 heroes at random, deals slightly more damage than Tenderizer and inflicts a weak bleed/stun.
Cauldron
25% DMG aura to both the heroes and Hag.
25% More HP
Spill the Pot
After each turn when the cauldron is empty, it will spill dealing minor aoe damage and a small blight, in addtion to a 25% DMG debuff.
AI Changes
Seasoned to Perfection can’t target heroes at death’s door.
Feeding Time will either target stressed out heroes or heroes with low blight resistance.
Meat Grinder will target heroes with low stun resistance.
Hag’s Spices
+40% Debuff Resistance
+40% Debuff Chance
-20% Stress Received
-20% Bleed Resistance
-20% Blight Resistance
-20% Stun Resistance
Protective Cauldron
+25% Stun Resistance
+20% Max HP
+15% PROT
-8 ACC
-8 DEF
-3 SPD
Blight resistance is very useful in this fight.
As per usual with Hag, damage dealers that can hit ranks 3 and 4 are vital in this fight.
You might want to choose to ignore the Pot and try to focus down Hag with that +25% DMG buff.
However, Hag will also have the buff and she will try her best to stress your heroes out, but releasing the hero from the cauldron will alleviate the stress a bit.
Being able to clear marks will allow you to dodge Into The Pot!
An empty cauldron will lower your damage, unless if you have decent debuff resistance.
Purging debuffs might be useful in this fight.
Be wary of letting Hag drop down below 33% HP, because then she will start stunning your heroes.
Take advantage of the lowered stun resistance.
Thank you for checking my mod out! This is now my fourth boss rework in my boss rework series, so be sure to check those out as well! Hope you enjoy this rework and don’t be afraid to leave suggestions and feedback.
