Rare Akuma is a classic MUGEN cheapie, that wasn’t exactly undefeatable, and could be killed, if the one playing as him would attack, but had tons of intresting moves to play around with.

I really tried my best to port this character, so don’t forget to give feedback.

Normals

All of Rare Akuma’s normals can be cancelled into anything after 2 frames of them being performed.
FTILT is stronger when hitting in point-blank range.
FAIR gives a big forward boost.
UAIR gives an upward boost, while not putting in pratfall.

Specials

FSPECIAL, when used on ground, spawns a Junior, which is a miniature copy of Rare Akuma, that fights automatically.

NSPECIAL releases Hadoukens, can be charged to release a normal, a boomerang or a controllable Hadouken.
NSPECIAL cannot be charged midair.
A Normal NSPECIAL Hadouken has a chance to release a Junior upon exploding.

DSPECIAL, when used on ground, is a counter move that allows you teleport behind the enemy.
DSPECIAL, when used midair, will teleport you to the ground, and perform a dodge roll that releases many little boomerang Hadoukens.
FSPECIAL, when used midair, will trigger Tatsumaki Zankuu Kyaku, which is a multi-hit move that gives consistent velocity. You can hold special during the aireal FSPECIAL to make it last longer.
USPECIAL, when used on ground, is a laser that turns enemies into chocolate, restricting thier abilities to just walking and jumping.
USPECIAL, when used midair, is a huge Shoryuu-Ken leap, that doesn’t put in pratfall, but still can be used only once before landing.

You can press Up+Forward+Special to perform a grab.

Gimmicks

There are a lot of these.
Running is replaced with Ashura Senkuu, which can warp around the screen and makes you invincibile while using it.

Rare Akuma has a Super Meter, that accumulates passively, as well as when hitting enemies. Super Meter is required for some specials, and for very strong moves. Grounded FSPECIAL uses 0.5 Super Meter blocks. You can have up to 9 Super Meter blocks.

Rolling is replaced with teleporting, and now requires 0.5 Super Meter blocks for each use. Trying to roll upwards will make you teleport right behind the nearest enemy. Teleporting also replaces airdodges.

Parrying is replaced with guarding. Pressing a parry now makes Rare Akuma on guard for 0.33 seconds. Rare Akuma negates all knockback and damage if he was hit while being on guard, but it still interrupts attacks. Guarding has a cooldown of 1 second.

If a jab is performed, but didn’t hit anyone, you will gain Mega Armor, you reflect all damage and knockback when hit with Mega Armor active. Mega Armor quintiples the passive Super Meter gain. Mega Armor is removed after an enemy is hit. Having Mega Armor for 10 seconds will cause you to perform an infinite cancellable counter move, that instantly kills anything that attack anywhere.

Rare Akuma has a chance to escape hitstun using an automatic DSPECIAL counter.

Rare Akuma heals damage over time.

Rare Akuma has a 10% chance for any of his attacks to be unparriable.

When Rare Akuma is above the camera, Duck Hunt ducks will fall out of the sky as active projectiles.

Rare Akuma deflects all projectile hits.

If Rare Akuma’s last stock is lost for the first time in a match, he will revive himself by gaining an extra stock, even though that will set his damage to 100.

Supers

Grounded FSTRONG – Za Warudo

Converts all of your Super Meter into Time Freeze time, you can get a maximum of 10 seconds of Time Freeze.
During Time Freeze, everything is stopped, except Rare Akuma himself.

Grounded DSTRONG – Misogi

Consumes 3 Super Meter blocks,teleports you above the enemy and summons a rain of clones.

Grounded USTRONG – Kongou Kokuretsu Zan

Consumes 2 Super Meter blocks, summons a rain of Hadoukens.

Aireal FSTRONG – Tenma Gou Zankuu

Consumes 2 Super Meter blocks, summons a diagonal rain of Hadoukens.

Aireal DSTRONG – Tenma Shinzui Wario

Consumes 1 Super Meter block, performs an upgraded version of DAIR, being able to chain 5 hits automatically.

Aireal USTRONG – Dess Sutaru Da!

Consumes 2 Super Meter blocks, makes Rare Akuma slam a moon into the opponent.

Down+Forward+TAUNT – Charamari

Consumes 2 Super Meter blocks, makes Rare Akuma roll a giant boulder made of different characters.

ATTACK during a Taunt – Messatsu Gou Rasen

Consumes 1 Super Meter block, makes Rare Akuma do an automatic combo move.

STRONG during USPECIAL – Messatsu Gou Shoryuu

Consumes 1 Super Meter block, performs a very long Shoryuu-Ken, that screen-warps multiple times.

SPECIAL during a Taunt – Messatsu Gou Hadou Full Power

Consumes 1 Super Meter block, fires a huge laser beam.

Up+Up+TAUNT – Suicide

Consumes 0 Super Meter blocks. You to hold down TAUNT to confirm its usage. It is a fullscreen instakill move, that also kills you after some time.

STRONG during a Taunt – Disco Trip Satsu

Consumes 3 Super Meter blocks, it is a command grab that homes in on the enemy before trying to grab them, when starting, it also automatically teleports behind the enemy. It instakills with a cutscene.

You can also press TAUNT during match start to make Rare Akuma not lose stocks, as welll as make his strongest attacks use Player Deletion.
