Landmarks of Eternity — SFO Compatibility Patch
Landmarks of Eternity — SFO Compatibility Patch is a dedicated compatibility patch for Landmarks of Eternity, its Immortal Empires Expanded add-on and SFO: Grimhammer III.
It adapts landmark units and Regiments of Renown to SFO’s battle pacing, economy and unit balance logic. The goal is simple: units added by the original mod should feel like they belong in an SFO campaign, not like they were dropped in from a different ruleset.
- Makes Landmarks of Eternity compatible with SFO: Grimhammer III.
- Rebalances landmark units and Regiments of Renown for SFO campaign economy.
- Adjusts recruitment costs, upkeep and custom battle prices.
- Aligns unit strength, tier and battlefield role with nearby SFO analogues.
- Tunes combat valuation for melee, missile, monster and artillery units.
- Keeps elite and special units expensive enough to remain meaningful choices.
- Adapts the Immortal Empires Expanded add-on content as part of the same SFO layer.
- Preserves the original mod’s design: landmarks, flavour and content remain unchanged.

In Total War: WARHAMMER III, mods placed higher in the load order have priority over mods below them. Keep this patch above Landmarks of Eternity, its IEE add-on and SFO so its compatibility changes can properly override the required mods.
This is a compatibility and balance patch only. It is focused on SFO integration for landmark units, Regiments of Renown, recruitment cost, upkeep, custom battle price, combat valuation and battlefield roles.
The Immortal Empires Expanded add-on is optional. If you do not use IEE, you can still use this patch with the base Landmarks of Eternity mod and SFO.
A new campaign is strongly recommended, especially after major updates to Landmarks of Eternity, its IEE add-on, Immortal Empires Expanded or SFO. Landmark units, RoRs and campaign availability may not behave cleanly when added or removed mid-campaign.
Do not use multiple SFO compatibility patches for Landmarks of Eternity at the same time unless they are explicitly designed to work together.
This patch is designed for Landmarks of Eternity + SFO: Grimhammer III, with additional support for the Immortal Empires Expanded add-on.
Potential conflicts may happen with mods that change the same landmark units, Regiments of Renown, recruitment rules, unit costs, upkeep, custom battle values, unit roles, building rewards, landmark effects or SFO progression logic.
It may work alongside other landmark mods, but balance and reward overlap are not guaranteed if they modify the same units, settlements or landmark reward systems.
If you notice wrong unit costs, strange upkeep, missing units, incorrect custom battle prices, broken landmark rewards, unclear tooltips or other SFO-related problems, please report them in the comments.
If possible, include your load order and mention whether you use Immortal Empires Expanded and the Landmarks of Eternity IEE add-on.
If you enjoy the patch and want to support future updates, please consider rating it positively and adding it to your favorites. Thank you for your support!
Thanks to Chasslo for Landmarks of Eternity and the Immortal Empires Expanded add-on, and to the SFO: Grimhammer III team for SFO.
This is a fan-made compatibility patch.
