[WOTC] Just Load My Save (An Ironman Mod)
Ever needed a quick save in ironman without a detour through the main menu?
Ever wanted to peek at another campaign without being forced to save first?
This mod fixes that. No runarounds required, just convenience.
- Adds a Save Game button to the pause menu in Ironman mode
– Performs an ad-hoc quicksave, no detour required - Suppresses the Ironman autosave when choosing from the pause menu:
– Load Game
– Exit to Main Menu
– Quit to Desktop - All options are independently configurable via INI
- Safe to add or remove at any time

[WOTC] Mission Launch Auto Save – For ironman this essentially just adds an F5 shortcut for quicksave. Combining the two mods seals the deal: the hotkey + the pause menu entry.
In Ironman, the pause menu quietly autosaves the moment you click Load Game, Exit to Main Menu, or Quit to Desktop – before you’ve even confirmed anything! "GO TO JAIL!" the game demands. "Go directly to jail. DO NOT PASS GO. DO NOT COLLECT $200." By the time you see the button’s confirmation prompt, the damage is already done. It’s a trap! Well, it was a trap, but with this mod it is one no longer. The result is a more honest UI.
