Description:
Generated with GameRealisticMap

I took a lot of creative liberties to build out the UNIFIL bases and other points of interest, so they don’t really look like the real-life versions. It took me a few months to finally put this together and I think it turned out okay.

Map size: About 14×14 km

Features

– The entire City of Tyre and it’s surrounding towns/countryside.

– Tyre Port

– Ancient Ruins

– Vast orchards

– Military Bases

– UNIFIL Camps

– A make-shift airbase to use for Antistasi

– Cool-looking Mediterranean landscape and cityscape.

Some Caveats

Lebanon has a very hilly terrain. You might notice that some buildings float off of the ground in one corner, or the dirt might go through the ground at the first floor. This is because the assets from JBAD and CUP are mostly designed to fit into mostly flat terrain, and the "foundation" (the part of the structure that goes through the ground) of the buildings are very short. It looks even worse when the buildings are destroyed.

I tried to fix most of the worst offenders but there are thousands of buildings on this map so you will see some weird things lol.

Also the airbase is not functional with the AI auto-landing/take-off. It should be fine for Antistasi though.

Ported to Antistasi Ultimate!

I managed to port this map to Antistasi Ultimate. You can now try to liberate Tyre from the Invading IDF and other occupying armies!

From Wikipedia:

Tyre is a city in Lebanon, and one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. It was one of the earliest Phoenician metropolises and the legendary birthplace of Europa, her brothers Cadmus and Phoenix, and Carthage’s founder Dido (Elissa). The city has many ancient sites, including the Tyre Hippodrome, and was added as a whole to the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1984. The historian Ernest Renan described it as "a city of ruins, built out of ruins".
