*This map was based on Gedemon’s YnAMP and Benualdo’s Civ7Map*

𝑫𝒆𝒔𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏

This is a map centered on the North Atlantic, covering Europe, North Africa, Asia Minor, and eastern North America. Players will compete over homeland interests, oceanic exploration, and colonial expansion. Distant Lands are located around North America and Greenland. (The map does not wrap horizontally)

Map size 128×80, supports up to 23 players in single player

TSL: Vanilla civilizations and supported Mod civilizations within the map area start at their historical capital locations. Other civilizations start randomly.

Natural Wonders are placed in their real-world locations! Most resources and rivers are generated randomly, but rainfall has been adjusted by biome, so the overall geography and climate remain close to reality. For example, the Egyptian desert has navigable rivers. Rivers are denser than in the base game.

Real locations: Bermuda Triangle (Bermuda), Gullfoss (Iceland), Thera (Greece), Vihren (Bulgaria)

Fixed replacements: Machhapuchhre→Mont Blanc & Matterhorn, Kilimanjaro→Mount Vesuvius

𝑴𝒂𝒑 𝑶𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒊𝒛𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔

Because the map does not wrap horizontally, crossing the Atlantic during the Exploration Age can be inconvenient for completing Triumph objectives. To make this smoother, all civilian and support units, including Settlers, Scouts, Missionaries, Treasure Fleets, and others, receive +2 Movement on water tiles

Some treasure resources are fixed in place. For example, Cuba has abundant sugar, making it easier to complete the Economic Triumph

Use a wider camera view with Zoom+
To build an even larger empire, I recommend Settlement Limit Settings to increase the settlement limit
