[PM/RAGDOLL] Aperture Turret Girl (V4)

It’s been a while since I’ve made one of these, hasn’t it? Truth be told, I’ve actually had this one finished for quite a while. You’ve probably seen Izumi chan’s (very awesome) animation using this model from around a year ago… with a description saying the model was planned for later release. And then for a year I proceeded to do exactly the opposite. Oops. Honestly no clue why I never released this one, It’s actually one of my favorite gijinka designs I’ve made. I feel this design captures the turret’s essence quite well – Simple, slightly unnerving but still cute at the same time. Or something like that, I don’t know. So here it is! Enjoy!

V2 was an update to the original model, and V3 was the last one I uploaded, I just marked it as "V2". This is technically V4. It doesn’t matter much but people seemed to be caught up on that so I’m clarifying here.

TL;DR: No.
I’ve said this multiple times at this point, but defective turrets being male in this context make no sense if they’re just normal turrets minus their casing/bullets. I can understand where the confusion here stems. The normal turrets have a softer, feminine voice that matches a female gijinka nicely, but in contrast, the defective turrets have a much more masculine, rough voice. Some have taken this to mean that the defective turrets are male, and the normal turrets are female. But, logically, this makes… no sense? Frankly, the defective turret’s voice being different at all makes no sense, but it’s like that for a reason: Contrast. Defective turrets are clueless runts. They have a jagged, darker, metal exterior. They contrast the sleek, clean, refined normal turrets. So, their voice is changed in order to emphasize this contrast in a comical way, and to give them added character: NOT to imply that every defective turret HAS to be male, or that turrets are even specifically gendered in the first place. And, even if they weren’t, I gender bent space core for their gijinka so frankly I don’t really care. Hopefully you can understand.

Also, no. Not every defective turret is wilson. Love EZ2 though. Peak mod. Play it if you haven’t already.
