The M56 Smartgun was a man-portable heavy machine gun with automatic targeting capabilities chambered for 10×28mm Caseless ammunition. It was notably employed by the United States Colonial Marine Corps. The M56A2[2][3] model in particular saw regular use in engagements with the Xenomorph and Yautja species.
