>>> Everyone, I’m 2/3 complete with the 1.18 updates to Andromeda Kitbash!!! Taking a while, but everything is going smoothly enough 🙂 should have it finished by tomorrow evening!

This is a new scenario that is currently under development and testing, and will undergo frequent updates to it as things are adjusted and added to it. What to expect:

– This scenario currently uses vanilla assets that have been modified, is based off of the Default Random scenario with all of its missions and storylines
– A lot of inspiration from multiple sources are used and brought together in this scenario
– Combat will be quite different from Vanilla or other scenarios! Weapon ranges, rates of fire, and projectile speeds are significantly increased (1.5 – 2x). This means enemies and POIs will shoot at you from much farther away, so enter new playfields in polar regions or have shields on just in case.
– A lot of weapons are now added to each class of build, old weapons are now allowed on more classes than before. Lots of new weapons and items are also added to the scenario, and many of the items in game have different stats; test them out and enjoy using them:

New Weapons: Helmag, Cannons, Heavy Cannons, and much more have been added
Manual Fire Missiles added to more classes of builds
Sentry Turrets across all builds, and with lower CPU cost
Advanced Detectors (Radar Dishes)
Small, Large, and Reactor Generators (check out Offline Protection also)
Solar Panels are now also available on CV (may add to SV, HV soon)
Advanced Jump Drive (30ly) for SV
Shield Boosters (Recharge Bonus) and Shield Extenders (Capacity Bonus)
New Thruster Options for CV and HV
Mechanical Drill, NVGs, and All Armors are now craftable
Flamethrowers, Crossbows, and Epic Detectors have increased stats
CV Manual Fire Weapons can now be used in Atmosphere
CPU Extenders provide bonus CPU for each one installed (Worth keeping them all)
Crew members are craftable and give bonus CPU (5000 ea)
Additional Deco Blocks, Commodity Item Uses (check the Deconstructor),
Armor Boosters are tied to specific armor types and are all in use now
Loot Tables now have the rare Epic Light and Epic Medium Armors
Alien Loot Containers have now been buffed with 99,999hp (to help avoid loss during extended combat against OPVs, PPVs, and POIs)
New Food and Medical Items are being added frequently

Unlock Points for all new items have been added, so be sure to plan out your UP spending because you will not be able to unlock everything!

Future Roadmap:

– Additional Drone types added to the Drone Bay and Spawners (Increased Variety)
– Ranges of all manual fire weapons (not turrets) may be increased from 2x to 2.5-3x
– Beam Laser Cannons will be added after I create the beam Pfx in Unity
– Beam Laser Turrets will also be added after I create those Pfx
– Security Crew (with weapons) will be added and placeable by players
– Attempt to create a Counter-Missile Defense system (make missiles targetable)
– Attempt to add in SVs as OPV and PPV (to add in more variety)
– Additional Energy Weapon modifiers to the following types will be added
Laser (red) – 100% vs Armor, 40% vs Shields, Long Range
Electron/Ion (blue) – 40% vs Armor, 100% vs Shield, Long Range
Plasma (green) – 100% vs Armor, 100% vs Shield, Medium Range

Working on 8 NEW FACTIONS including all of their STORYLINES and MISSIONS
