Description:

Tired of covert ops granting a measly 1-2 XP per soldier for weeks of downtime?
Ever wished a covert action actually felt worth the wait for the operatives?
This mod makes covert action XP mean something – tunable, visible, and unique.

Features
  • Exposes a comprehensive formula to configuration:
Length: Adjust XP per day of duration (default: 0.25/day)
Risks: Adjust XP per risk and by severity (default: approx 0-6 total)
Force Lv: Scale XP with force level (default: 0.25/level)
Bonus: Random bonus per mission (default: 0-3)
Modifier: Adjust the sum of the above (default: 50-100%)
Rank Bonus: Additional flat bonus per rank (default: 0)
    – Every knob is INI-configurable. Dial them in to your preferences.
    – Shown XP is granted PER SOLDIER. Grants rank-up as applicable post-op.
  • The XP formula and result is fully exposed in the ingame UI
    – Full breakdown is visible for every single op pre-launch
    – The post-op report shows the REAL XP granted
  • Makes covert ops count as missions for soldier stats (default: enabled)
  • Fully deterministic – same op, same seed, same result, every time
    – No re-rolling. No gaming the system. Just honest, reliable variance.
  • Translated in eleven languages

How This Compares
  • Covert Experience grants up to your current Force Level as XP, with zero config or UI insight.
  • Covert XP Tuner gives you full control over the formula AND full visibility into the result.

Compatibility
  • Safe to add or remove at any time
  • Non-invasive and compatibility-friendly; zero overrides
  • No known conflicts (Auto-neutralizes Covert Experience)

Suggested Mods

Multiple Covert Actions: Run more simultaneous ops.
[WOTC] More Covert Action Slots: Assign more soldiers per op.
[WOTC] Covert Editor: Lets you always edit your assigned soldiers.

Stop sending soldiers on covert ops for pocket change. Make it count.
