Description:
BACKGROUND

The D.S.V Akvanat, launched in 2024, is a premier diving support vessel designed by OMUA (Oceanic Marine Underwater Agency) for advanced subsea operations. Equipped with three moonpools—one large for heavy equipment, one for divers, and one for the onboard diving bell—the Akvanat excels in underwater exploration. Its operations center overlooks the expansive moonpool area, coordinating a fleet of specialized vehicles, including a diving bell, ROV, Seabanana wetsub, Manta II minisub, and a compact helicopter. Inside, the vessel features a modern laboratory, private accommodations, a mess deck, infirmary, and armory. With a standard crew of 6 and space for 10 divers and specialists, the Akvanat is built for efficiency and comfort, ready to tackle the toughest underwater challenges.
