Welcome. I’m Wiga and I’m an experienced story mission creator for Men of War game series.

Commanders, welcome to the endless horizons of the Don and Volga steppes. In July 1942, the German armored spearheads are driving hard toward Stalingrad. Under your command are four specialized heroes: Krause, Hartman, Schneider, and Hermann. To achieve victory, you must coordinate their unique skills while overcoming the brutal tactical and environmental realities of the Russian steppe.

GENRE: Historical event inspired, mid-war story campaign.
CO-OP support: Yes, full. Up to 12 players.

Campaign story:

Battle Group von Strachwitz (Kampfgruppe von Strachwitz)
The Battle Group von Strachwitz (Kampfgruppe von Strachwitz), commanded by Hyacinth Graf von Strachwitz, played a crucial and dramatic role during the German assault on Stalingrad in August 1942.

As part of the 16th Panzer Division, Strachwitz’s Battle Group formed the spearhead of the German XIV Panzer Corps’ advance. Their mission was to rapidly break through the Soviet defensive lines west of the Don River and reach the Volga River directly, north of Stalingrad.

Strachwitz, known for his extremely aggressive and dynamic tactics of leading from the front line, led his tanks through the surprised and unprepared positions of the Red Army. The Kampfgruppe pushed forward at tremendous speed, ignoring its exposed flanks.

Features:

Campaign for over 5 hours of playing.
Overhauled infantry weapons: each GoH infantry weapon is replaced to custom one.
New infantry weapons are added, over 100 new weapons in HD.
New experimental vehicles.
Incorporated over 20 new tanks.
Overhauled voice overs known very well from my MoW:AS2 mods.
Overhauled infatry skins. Mod uses good old comrade ivan skins and new custom ones,
reworked HD textures again, to replace Last Grenadier performance textures.
Overhauled helmets, added wearable props as backpacks, medic bags, sacks, but mostly new camos for each side.
Added new shot sounds to infantry weapons, but used only few currently.
Added bunkers, civilian objects, ruins and other props like houses.

Metamorphosen/Ostfront – Years ago I took few road textures. Those are still in this mod, aswell destroyed buildings improved by Wiga. Currently not used in this campaign.
CCG – couple of models from mod Daughter of Motherland. Textures reworked by Wiga.

Compatibility mods & other informations:

Do not combine this modification with any larger mods. It can break units,properties and many other things if compatibility patch is not made.

Not compatible with Last Grenadier yet. This new build is based on Last Grenadier but in future Last Grenadier will be improved by content of this mod. So stay tuned.

New dialogues for new heroes are created by Natural Language Processing inside Eleven labs tools. I did my best to make best results and hand tuned many of them insidie auda city for best quality. The outcome is: dialogues generated are 50-50 with orginal RO2 dialogues. Also I have generated couple tracks of music for specific events, overal ingame music is 99% human made playlist, using Last Grenadier resources.
