D7 Leveling System

A complete 1–50 progression system for DayZ. Reward your players for surviving and fighting — they earn XP from kills, headshots, actions, and time survived, rank up through 50 levels each with its own rank icon, unlock custom rewards, and speed up the grind with XP Boosters. Clean UI, deep configuration, and full server-owner control.

Player Features
  • 1–50 Leveling — earn XP from kills, headshots, surviving, and performing actions, across all 50 levels, each with its own unique rank icon.
  • Rank Window — a clean in-game menu (press L) showing your level, XP bar, current rank icon, next reward, and all 50 rank icons.
  • HUD Bar — a bottom progress bar keeps your rank and XP-to-next visible at a glance.
  • Level-Up Sound — a satisfying sound plays every single time you rank up.
  • Level Rewards — receive custom item rewards each time you reach a new level.
  • XP Boosters — consumable items that double XP gain for 1, 2, or 3 hours.
  • +XP Flash — an on-screen popup shows the XP you just earned.

Server Owner Features
  • Full Control — every value is yours to set: XP rates, the level curve, rewards, booster durations, and all toggles.
  • Per-Player Data — each player’s level and XP are saved securely, one file per player.
  • Live Admin — reload configs or set any player’s level instantly, with no restart.
  • Global Multiplier — scale ALL XP with a single value, perfect for weekend XP events.
  • Modular — enable only the systems and add-ons you want.

Configuration

All config files are created automatically on first run. The main file, settings.json, controls XP rates, the global multiplier, and booster durations:

Set the XP per level and the item rewards in levels.json. Rewards are given when a player levels up, so start them at level 2 and above:

Live admin — drop a reload.txt to apply config changes with no restart, or a setlevel.txt (SteamID level) to set any player’s level on the fly.

Optional Add-ons

Integrates with D7 Skills System, BaseBuildingPlus, DNA Keycards, and DayZ Expansion (Market & Quests) — earn XP from building, keycards, and quests, or lock traders and skills behind levels.

Requirements
  • D7 Core — required. Make sure it is loaded alongside this mod.
