Winter themed "time" and survival maps
"Time" Map:
Its more like an exploration map, you start with an axe and ammo is very limited, so if possible kill most of the regular zombies with Axe throws, save revolver for maniac or squirter
The bow is one of the optional areas, its great as you can recover your arrows
You need to activate two beacons that are in the towers to proceed to the finish
Survival Map:
– "Balanced" for the hardcore difficulty without the use of Brain smasher.
– Wave starts 5 seconds after loading
– There is a lot of loot in the enviorment, its always the same items but their location is random
– After completing a wave, one of the Huts will open at random, with random gear from a predetermined list of ammo and utility. There is not a lot of time to loot so you’ll have to be quick to loot the hut without zombies around.
– Zombies spawn very far from you and move to your location, you should never see any zombie pop up next to you, they might move around the border of the map so look around often.
Wave 1: Mixed wave, spawns at a regular pace
Wave 2: Maniac wave, all maniacs and 1 red zombie ( you will see more red zombos if playing in Hardcore or Extreme)
Wave 3: Mixed wave, like the first one with less maniacs but more powerfull enemies
Wave 4: This is similar to wave 3 but zombies spawn way faster
Tips Hardcore:
– Loot the starter gear and then begin scavenging for supplies, you might want to save the AR’s ammo for wave 2. With a simple damage upgrade you can oneshot the maniacs.
– Glock is quite good at run and gun as you can reload while running
– The shotgun is a good executioner weapon, running around and a blue or red zombie is alone in your path? Shotty to the face does wonders
– A good way to spot the hut that’s open is to get in the middle, with the big tree, you can see both huts easily so you will know where to go.
If you have any ideas for this map they are welcome.
Known Issue:
– Due to the Layout of the mountains and Jodi not shotting midair, you might "fall" for a split second and thats enough to prevent a shot or enter a "landing" animation, causing the nearby Zomboid to get a bite on you. This happens more likely if you walk towards one of the rocky walls.
