R.S.V. Laguna (Ocean Floor Research Vessel) w/ Seabed Crawler
The R.S.V Laguna is a versatile 42-ft Atoll-class vessel designed by OMUA (Oceanic Marine Underwater Agency) for underwater exploration and research. Launched in 2025, the Laguna features a large gantry crane for deploying the SeaBean, a seafloor explorer crawler vehicle. The SeaBean allows divers to navigate the seafloor or exit through its airlock for direct exploration. Equipped with advanced technology including multibeam sonar, dual radar systems, and an autopilot, the Laguna ensures precise and efficient operations. The vessel includes a bridge, a crew level with a research area, a small lounge, and cabin facilities. Designed for small crews and short missions, the Laguna is operated by a standard crew of 2, with space for up to 3 additional staff. Like all OMUA vessels, it can be managed by a single crew member in emergencies.
