Description:
Smart Export Threshold

Smart Export Threshold adds a smart automation layer to the vanilla Logistics Manager in Big Ambitions.

The idea is simple:

Keep a selected buffer amount in your warehouse, and export everything above that buffer.

This mod is designed for players who produce large amounts of goods in factories and want to automatically export surplus stock without constantly adjusting export targets by hand.

Core Features

  • Adds Smart Export controls to the Logistics Manager
  • Lets you define a protected warehouse buffer per product
  • Counts stock from one or multiple selected warehouses
  • Calculates the surplus above your chosen buffer
  • Updates factory export targets automatically
  • Uses the existing factory-to-exporter logistics flow
  • Works with in-game time and fast-forwarding

Important

Smart Export does not export directly from warehouses.

Goods are still exported through the normal factory logistics system:

Factory → Exporter

Not:

Warehouse → Factory → Exporter

Your selected warehouse stock is used as the reference for the calculation, but the actual export still happens from the factory, as intended by the base game.

Basic Formula

Export amount = selected warehouse stock – buffer

Example:

Selected warehouse stock: 30,000 Buffer: 20,000 Smart Export amount: 10,000

If the selected warehouse stock is below or equal to the buffer, the export amount becomes 0.

Recommended Use

Smart Export works best when:

  • The product is produced by a factory
  • The factory has a valid logistics plan
  • The factory can route goods to an exporter
  • Your warehouses receive goods from the factory
  • You know how much stock you want to protect for your stores

A good starting point is:

Set the buffer to the amount your stores need for the next few days.
