Description:

ModdingTools Crusader Kings III Load Order Analyzer

This is not a normal CK3 mod. It does not add events, maps, characters, cultures, religions, traits, or gameplay changes.

This Workshop page is here to point people toward the ModdingTools CK3 Analyzer, a website tool for building, sorting, and exporting Crusader Kings III mod lists.

Use it here:
https://www.moddingtools.com

The goal is simple: help people who are new to modding and do not fully understand load orders get a working mod list faster. Instead of guessing where every mod should go, you can use the analyzer to organize the list and speed up the setup process.

The tool can be used two ways.

If you already have mods installed, open the analyzer and scan your Crusader Kings III mod folder. You can use your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings III/mod folder, your Steam workshop content/1158310 folder, or an individual CK3 mod folder with a descriptor.mod file.

Once your mods are loaded, click Auto Sort. The analyzer organizes your mods into a recommended load order, then you can copy or export the result.

You can also use the site to build a mod list before downloading anything. Browse the CK3 catalog, add mods to your list, open the analyzer, and sort the list. Mods added from the catalog will be marked as Not Installed until you download or subscribe to them.

The CK3 sorter uses load order rules for UI mods, quality-of-life mods, flavor mods, character mods, economy mods, religion and culture mods, warfare mods, event mods, map mods, overhauls, submods, and compatibility patches. It also places dependencies before the mods that need them, and patches or submods after their parent mods.

This tool is meant to make modding easier and faster, especially for players who do not want to spend hours reading load order guides before starting a new campaign.

Total conversions, map mods, submods, and large overhaul lists may still need manual review, but the analyzer gives you a much better starting point than guessing.
