Description:

This is a bug-fixing mod that aims to squash all vanilla bugs that are feasible to correct or work around via mods, while leaving gameplay/content otherwise unchanged. It currently includes the following fixes:

  • Child recruitment: fixes a bug whereby child visitors will immediately exit the scene, before you can admit them to the shelter
  • Blockade dialogue: fixes a bug whereby dwellers will use the "there is a lock/grate, but I can use my tool" line when they do not, in fact, possess a suitable tool
  • Child skill dialogue: fixes a bug whereby children will use the "I don’t know how to do that, but I can learn" line when they cannot, in fact, learn that thing
  • Aid container event reward: fixes a bug that prevents a third event in the "aid container" quest arc from running
  • Unnamed scavenge items: fixes a bug that spawns broken/unfinished items with no name/description from appearing in loot containers at certain locations
  • Trader visit fix: fixes a rare bug whereby Franko (the trader) ceases visiting the shelter permanently
  • Missing NPC names: adds names for some NPCs that lack them, such as the trader at the Music Club
  • Spelling fixes: numerous spelling/grammar fixes for the English localization strings
  • Missing localizations: adds translations for numerous (DLC and Final Cut-related) strings that are missing in various (non-English) languages (these use machine translation so won’t be perfect, but better than nothing).

These fixes are already incorporated into (and were derived from) my overhaul mod, Welcome to Hell! If you’re running that mod, you don’t also need this one.

Suggestions welcome, not all vanilla bugs can be fixed by mods, but I’m happy to at least attempt additional requested fixes.
