### Solar Power
Solar panels generate electricity
– Closer to Sol: more output
– Farther from Sol: less output
– Output is capped at each panel’s rated wattage
### Heat
Panels also generate waste heat.
(can be disable through the config)
– Panel efficiency is modeled at `28%`
– The non-electrical portion becomes waste heat
– A small fraction of that waste heat is transferred into the nearest interior room with gas
– Includes 3 solar panels.

– Radiator to deal with the heat generated from the panels.
– At max heat generation you need 2 radiators per 1 Large solar panel.
Signal Logic
Solar panels support signal boxes.
– `Off`: forced off
– `On`: forced on
– `Auto`: follows signal state
In `Auto`:
– signal off -> panel switches to `Off`
– signal restored -> panel switches to `On`
