Crye AVS Plate Carriers – Milsim Customization REDUX
Once upon a time, a psychotic man known as GospelofBrowning posted his multi-month project that revolved around a bunch of vests and milsim drip. He updated it, maintained it, burned anywhere between $200 and $300 for the meshes, but then his PC sputtered and broke before he did – weighted down by 3D models and hentai games.
When his PC recovered after several hundred dollars and some months later, to his shock, Gospel could not access his account. In fact, he could not access anything. Gospel’s account, once inherited from his older cousins, now lay effectively dead, all because both the cousin and Gospel forgot to take screenshots of the account’s passwords. In a fell swoop, two of his crowning achievements in the XCOM Workshop – gone. All he had was the original work files that somehow survived the restoration of his PC.
Thankfully, Gospel still had an account that had not been touched for many years – DamnedBeret, once an account that only screwed with Dirty Bomb and Unturned, now a dormant one ever since about 2017. After sacrificing more of his dignity during Pride Month of 2026 to recover some of his old games and certain programs, one thing is finally clear to him.
GospelofBrowning is dead.
Long live DamnedBeret.
Once again, this mod contains multiple models of Crye Precision’s Adaptive Vest System, as well as battle belts and helmets, for all of your milsim and tactical barbie dolls needs. Most of the vests are designed and set up with practicality and real-world references, based on various conflicts around the world.
In particular, this mod contains up to three dozen AVS models, belts and helmets in Multicam, Multicam Black and Coyote, each split into colors and different setups such as:
- Assaulter setups: kitted up for close-range direct action operations and Instagram reels.
- Rifleman setups: kitted up for peer-to-peer fighting with suppression galore and minimal egress opportunities.
- Automatic Rifleman setups: kitted up for belt-fed carriers with back pains and the growing need to alleviate their spinal problems.
- JTAC setups: kitted up for magicians who conjure up JDAMs from the heavens – if the air force permits.
- Grenadier setups: woe, 40-mike-mike upon ye.
- Leader setups: kitted up for element leaders, operational advisors and officers to turn the aforementioned manchildren into an effective fighting force.
Additionally, most of the vests and helmets have colorable glowsticks or V-Lites, which can be used to denote squad leaders, troop elements, soldier classes, or something else. These are affected by the secondary color option.
As always, all of these are available for both genders. If the boys can LARP up with hit hentai series Black Powder Red Earth[blackpowderredearth.com] and _Near Present[www.near-present.com], then so shall the girls.
Project Dollhouse or Unrestricted Customization Redux is highly recommended, borderline required for either. While this mod is built with Dollhouse in mind, UCR is confirmed to work with this mod.
The Male and Female Clothing Packs are also recommended, especially if you like the PMC and plainclothes SOF aesthetics.
DO NOT SUBSCRIBE OR DOWNLOAD THE PREVIOUS AVS MOD. THAT MOD IS NOW DEPRECATED AND A DUPLICATED ITEM WITH THE EXISTENCE OF THIS MOD. I CANNOT STRESS THAT ENOUGH.
I cannot lie – this mod (and the gun mod) burn through my wallet like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. The estimated $200-300 cost for this project alone is not an exaggeration – the AVS bundle that kicked off this project was already around $80, not to mention the $125 tag for the LAMG on the gun mod. If any of you enjoy my mods, please support me by throwing your hard-earned cash to me via Ko-fi[ko-fi.com]. It will greatly alleviate my financial burden towards my family and help me continue my passion.

- An incomprehensibly gigantic thank-you to the wonderful and supportive people of the XCOM 2 Modding Discord, who helped me through the mod’s development ever since 2024.
- And a big shout-out to Venator, who effectively covered the cost of the Better FBX Export/Import plugin for Blender. Without you, this project would be dead in the water.
