Tokyo Metro (Eidan) 02 Series / 営団02系

The 02 Series (02系) is an EMU operated by Tokyo Metro on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line.
Designed with the theme of "Classical Elegance", the 02 series was introduced by Eidan in 1988 and subsequently inherited by Tokyo Metro. A total of 336 cars were produced composing of 53 6-car sets on the main line and 6 3-car sets serving the branch line. Since 2019, Tokyo Metro had been replacing the 02 series with the new 2000 series. As of February 2024, only 3 6-car sets remain in service.
