Extended ACE Medical Loot
Tired of looting an enemy only to find two pathetic bandages and a tourniquet? Constantly running out of bloodbags because every enemy medic only carries one 250ml saline bag for some reason? Wondering why infantry first-aid kits contain morphine injectors but no painkillers? Worry no more!
Very simple mod to increase the amount of items received when ACE3 breaks down First Aid Kits and Medikits. "Convert items" must be enabled in ACE Medical settings for this mod to work.
First Aid Kits drop:
– 6 basic bandages
– 4 QuikClot bandages
– 2 splints
– 1 tourniquet
– 1 epinephrine
– 1 bottle of painkillers
Medikits drop:
– 2 bloodbags (1000ml)
– 2 bloodbags (500ml)
– 10 basic bandages
– 10 elastic bandages
– 10 QuikClot bandages
– 4 splints
– 4 tourniquets
– 5 epinephrine
– 5 morphine
– 20 sutures
Q: Why these specific amounts?
A: Felt right to me and the group I play with. It’s enough to keep someone supplied, but not so much that you’ll never want to go back and resupply properly.
Q: Why sutures instead of a surgical kit?
A: They weigh less, and the group I made this for plays with consumable sutures but infinite surgical kits.
Q: Are there plans to make this more customizable?
A: Maybe! Probably not. It’s a very simple mod, and it’s very easy to rip it open and edit it yourself if you want.
