Description:

The I3-class battlecruiser of the British Royal Navy is a relatively distinctive design among the battlecruiser programs proposed by First Sea Lord Fisher. Its unique weapon layout features all main turrets concentrated at the bow and the power plant positioned at the stern. This configuration is intended to shorten the length of the critical armor-protected area. With this design, the new-type battlecruiser can reduce the size of the main armor belt, thereby lowering its displacement; however, this design also brings certain drawbacks: the main armor belt is concentrated in the forward area, leaving the stern of the hull unusually vulnerable. Additionally, the forward placement of all main guns restricts their firing arc, preventing them from engaging enemies directly astern.
The HMS Saint Vincent is a large surface combatant 还原 (recreated) by World of Warships based on the aforementioned design characteristics. It is equipped with 9x 457mm main guns and has a full-load displacement of nearly 60,000 tons. In Naval Action (NA), the Saint Vincent features a 356mm main armor belt and a high level of horizontal protection up to 200mm, granting it decent survivability at long ranges. Meanwhile, it is fitted with two underwater torpedo tubes at the bow, endowing it with a certain degree of close-quarters combat capability. Combined with its maximum speed of up to 36 knots and excellent anti-aircraft capability, the Saint Vincent is truly a versatile "all-rounder" at sea.
