Deeper Drill – Stone Chunks
Patch for Deeper Drill that allows you to mine all types of stone chunk at a deeper drill.
Put this under the Deeper Drill mod in your mod ordering.
Since workers will neglect self-care to finish the drilling tasks, the deeper drill produces smaller batches of resources more frequently. This doesn’t work with stone chunks, which are mined in batches of 1.
Fortunately, the vanilla deep drill stone chunk rates are appalling (you can mine jade at half the rate of stone blocks, or steel at almost twice the rate, not including cutting time), so I decided it would be balanced enough to just mine stone chunks at 4x vanilla rates.
Additionally, all stone chunks can be mined regardless of the local stone types, because this is an XML mod and I can’t do fancy checks.
I would have included this in the base mod, but it’s a fairly large departure from vanilla balance so I decided not to.
