spear- and shield walls are now mobile!
NB: it does not require updating! it works fine with the latest patch
In vanilla game units can`t move or attack in "spear wall" or "shield wall" formations. Meanwhile, in reality, soldiers in these formations could both defend and attack.
This fix corrects such a «historical injustice». Now formations «spear wall» and «shield wall» are mobile. Warriors can attack and move with their shields closed, but they do it at 40% slower than in a free order formation.
«Wall» formations are enforced: these techniques could be used both by a player and AI (AI always tries to use the techniques that give bonuses to his troops). This trick was successful: AI often uses movable «walls» in defense and offense.
Due to lower speed of movement, «mobile walls» has enhanced bonus vs missiles.
Roman formations (defensive and attacking testudo) are slightly enhanced to balance the improvement of the barbarian "walls".
This fix is fully compatible with all modes, except some mods, which affects unit`s abilities.
