Intoducing the Cornstick! The Yellow stick like food, that looks sort of like corn! Is it the real thing? Who knows! You’re starving, and it’s edible, so who cares!

DESCRIPTION:
– This mod adds a new crop, the Cornstick, that grows at 100% in green climate, and 70% in arid climate. Great for those bases in the desert, where you want an alternative to the nasty cactus! This comes with it’s own custom model. I didn’t want to hurt performance, so I tried to keep the model as low-poly as I could, since the other crops are super low-poly. I also re-used textures that were already in the game, so this should have a very very low impact on performance(practically nothing) Even if I added custom textures, it probably wouldn’t have much of an impact, but in a game like Kenshi, every little bit of performance adds up, especially when you have 100-300 plants growing on the screen.
Comes in Small, Medium, Large, and hydroponic. Researched under Cornstick Farming. Hydroponic cornstick is researched the same way the other hydroponic farms are researched.
Crop Characteristics:
– Cornstick consumes a lot more water than cactus or wheatstraw(same water rate as greenfruit)
– Cornstick can live for a little bit without water, but not too long.
– It produces the same amount of cornstick as a vegtable farm of the same size produces of greenfruit. Although, this may change in the future, depending on feedback.

– Cornstick on the cob [ Just cornstick and water ] Researched under Cooking, and made at the cooking stove.
– Cornstick, Cornbread, and Cornstick on the Cob have been added to appropriate vendor’s inventories, and some loot tables.
NEW: Hydroponic cornstick farms!
I am considering making another crop called "Munchgrass" that can only be consumed by animals, but can be grown in green, swamp, or arid climates. Let me know in the comments if you want me to make Munchgrass a thing.
