The Ritual
The Ritual is a random event that can appear (or not) during your journey downstairs. This mod is the new version of the Invocation Circle, which are now unavailable (to prevent some bugs with the new version). The mecanics have changed, so I decided to release a new mod.
– First, you need the collect Blood Shards from the Boss of each floor. You keep the Blood Shards between runs, no matter the character.
– Sometimes you will find a circle of invocation in the center of a room, mostly in dead-end areas. You can spend 6 Blood Shards to activate it.
– When activated, the circle allow you to select your reward, between 3 cards ; you can select hearts, keys, coins, etc… or summon one of the 2 powerfull new bosses : Moira or PeePeeDie.
– The small items are held by a new monster (annoying but not dangerous) : Chesty. Just kill him to get the rewards.
– There can be only one circle per floor.
– Fighting Moira may be rude, especially if your damage is not high enough. The longer the battle, the harder it will become to avoid Moira’s attacks. Doors remain open during this time, if you think you can’t beat her, get out ! However, no victory, no rewards !
– PeePeeDie have huge amount of health… but there should be an easy way to get around this problem…
