Enhanced train station cargo capacity
In vanilla game, waiting cargo is stored only on the half of the cargo platform alongside the rail station track module
With this mod, there will be place for cargo:
- On all consecutive platforms next to the rail station track module.
- On consecutive platforms beyond the track module ending
If there are more terminals at the station, cargo space will be divided between them
Fully compatible
- Sloped train station
- NL Modular station
- mods with modified modules/trainstationutils.lua, if there will not be changes in the cargo storage definitions
- mods, that use trainstationutil.makeTrack() or CommonApi2 stationhelper.makeTrackByTrackType() functions for making train station track modules (tracks modules created by mods using other functions will be without enhanced cargo space).
Alternative
Cargo terminals capacity multiplier – less proper way by simple increasing capacity per platform for all transport modes (combinable with this mod)
Safe to add to the existing game, but this mod will not take effect until existing station will be manually modified using "Configure" button. Or you can use mod Bulk upgrader for stations/industries for do it at once for all stations
Safe to remove – effect will remain until the station will be modified.
