Description:

This mod is the successor to my now obsolete "The Empire" mod (which got honourably mentioned in CA’s latest patch notes) . It adds new campaign mechanics, new dilemmata and incidents to your Empire campaign. I may add some more stuff over time.

Empire Alliances (player only)

As Empire player you can now forge an alliance between you and any elector state if the fealty of this state is 7 or more. The elector states can dissolve any alliance with you if their fealty drops below 7.

Imperial Policies (player only)

Every 30 turns you have to choose between 3 random policies regarding your rule: Do you want to strengthen your military, build up your provinces, control your lands through religion, improve your army supplies, invest in alchemy or in magic powers and research? It’s your choice. Every one of these policies will give you many benefits, but these have to be payed with a small amount of your tax income.

NEW DILEMMAS – ‘Kislev’ (player) and ‘Imperial Peace (AI Setup)’

When playing as the Empire you can convince the elector counts to no longer wage war on Kislev, but it will cost you a bit of tax income. This treaty lasts for 40 turn and can get renewed. If you play a non-empire faction, you get a similar dilemma at the beginning of the game. This lasts for the rest of the campaign. NOTE: These diplomatic changes are purely optional. You can chose to apply them or not.

NEW MECHANIC – Last Stand (AI only)

Should the Empire as a whole ever lose more then half it’s regions a powerful Imperial army will spawn to help save the Empire. This may also bring the Empire back from the dead.

…PLUS SOME MORE DILEMMATA AND INCIDENTS

To add more flavour to the campaign I designed several new dilemmas and incidents:

  • Trade Opportunities – Trade prestige for trade income.
  • Marienburg – Decide the fate of Marienburg…
  • Witchhunters – They offer their help but it comes with a price…
  • Mordheim – Make profit from warpstone trade…or better not?
  • Beer for the Fish – A incident on the river Reik may hurt your relationship with the dwarfs.
  • For Sigmar! – Chaos is invading your lands and the flagellants aregahtering.
  • Refugees – Refugees from lost imperial regions will show up in one of your provinces (will randomly trigger if imperial regions are lost).
  • Manoeuvres (also for Dwarfs and Bretonia) – Train your troops.
  • Skaven – Deny or acknowledge the existence of intelligent ratmen.

REQUIREMENTS & COMPATIBILITY

Can be applied to any savegame. May crash your game if you decide to uninstall the mod.

Compatibility:

  • SFO: Is already part of SFO, so you don’t need this mod.
  • Radious: Compatible (no bug reports yet).
