Playable Alpaca
I’m no longer updating my Starbound mods, so they might not work as intended. Feel free to update and upload any of my Starbound mods.
Makes Alpacas playable so you can finally be a Scottish(?) viking space alpaca thing.
I’d say the most impressive part about this is that hats mostly work.
They’re also a bit (one block) taller, so you won’t fit in 4 tile high tunnels (doors are 5 blocks high so you shouldn’t have many problems), but you’re 50% faster because alpacas are fast apparently.
If you come across a 4 tile high space you can’t get through, try turning into a ball. Or use the forbidden crouch spam technique.
Anyway, had this laying around so I decided to upload it as I wasn’t working on it.
Clothing variety is pretty limited, so you’ll be relying on hats for customisation.
Normal clothing looks broken when you try to wear it.
There is some terrible inspection text, but not much.
Emotes work.
No new Alpaca NPCs are added, the default ones are good enough.
Hands are broken when doing some stuff, doesn’t bother me too much and it’s unfixable right now.
Pretty meh overall.
Probably forgetting stuff, but eh, you’ll find out on your own.
You’re gonna need some race extender mod to make this work.

The best hat is the Alien Alpaca Mask. Become a skyscraper.
