I am very happy to release Stalker:Zone wars. I spent allot of time polishing this mod, however it is not nearly finished. The goal is to be a competitive multiplayer Stalker themed mod. As of now This mod is fully functional in multiplayer their are tons of units and weapons to play with. Please play on alliances mode, and do not do teams. That way the new flags function properly, and people can pick their faction.

FACTIONS

+Military- Lots of ammo, armor, and training. However very costly. A good player will use them defensively and make every soldier count. A good player will keep his troops close together, but not to close. Don’t let your soldiers bodies be looted by the enemy if they go down, as the enemy needs your ammo to win. Keep your enemies at mid to long range and quickly eliminate snipers. A bad player will sit in one spot for to long. This faction can also lay traps.

+Stalkers- Low ammo and medium armor with decent training. They can create stashes and have high numbers. A wise player will always make sure to scavenge enemy soldiers for weapons and ammo. They have a low cost.

+Bandits- Low ammo, low armor, and low skill. However, very fast have the highest numbers and lowest cost. Great for ambushes and hit and run attacks. A good player will constantly surrounded and presssure the enemy, and always keep his troops spread out. He will also try to engage in close combat whenever possible. Always loot enemy bodies for better gear. This faction can also lay landmines. Despite having low ammo this faction does not lack one thing, GRENADES!

+Monolith Medium Armor, Low ammo, and Medium armor. High price, but this faction has high rengeneration speed and can build defensive strucutres. Good for hit and run tactics, and great for attacking. A good player will buy a variety of troops as they are able to supply eachother with ammo.

+Duty High Armor, Medium ammo, and medium training. This faction is also the slowest in both speed and rengenration rate while however having the highest max health. Do not hit and run, always make sure to quickly finish your enemy. A good player will hold tight corners and take his enemy out from long range, as this faction has access to many long range battle rifles. Also soldiers are medium priced

+Freedom
Medium armor, Medium ammo, and medium training. This faction has pretty decent speed and regenration but lower health then duty. Also soldiers are medium priced but a bit cheaper than duty. They also have a similiar play style. But most of freedoms guns are more accurate and do more damage, whereas duty has greater firerate. A good player will take advantage of freedoms mobility and range.

+Clearsky
High/Medium armor, medium ammo, and low training. This faction is very costly. Its main unit is shock troops which are extremely slow, but have a ton of armor and health. They are Great at both attacking and defending. However their price is high enough that you will always need to be carefull.

+Mercenaries
Low health, low armor, high ammo, and high training. Swift and agile the Mercs are great for flanking and long range. They do not excel at close range. They are similiar to freedom. Good players will form spread out lines and circles, and take advantage of the high range of their weapons.

As of now 8 Multiplayer factions with their own units and weapons. I worked very heard to handcraft and customize each units stats, and to code the variables defining each gun. I have spent many hours testing and trying to make this multiplayer experience as perfect as possible. However, it is very hard to test a multiplayer mod alone. Balancing is underway, and I really need testers who have allot of time and know good tactics.

New map List

4v4 Battlezones – Cordon. A map made in the fashion of the map cordon from the game. This map Is huge, and will feature anomalies, stashes, zombies, dogs, wheather patterns, and possibly even sidequest during the match. Spawns are spread around the map and so are flags, they are not in a linear fashion.

2v2 Battlezones – Devils Cros . A small stream seperates a town from an old Storage Facility. It is called Devils cross because the bridge is so narrow and open, many Stalkers are shot by bandits, when trying to cross it. They cross because behind the Factory is a tunnel system that opens up to the Mines by the red Forest. Lots of anomalies, and a few supply dumps. A strategic point will include a mounted machine gun close to the river.

3v3 Frontlines – Radchenko’s Blockade. A military blockaded outside of a city. It blocks of the entrance to Cordon. It is heavily fortified and provides lots of strategic points. The map is not wide, but it is very long. It will feature lots of supplies and a few anomalies, with some mounted machine guns. And possibly Hostile Military zombies with guns.

1v1 Garbage – Very small remake of the Bandit lair, or Main Garbage Factory. (WIP)
