Ninjas of Kenshi
This mod aims to improve the existing ninja factions in the game in a number of ways. I am also interested in adding new ninja factions in to the world in various locations in the future.
SAND NINJAS JOINABLE
All Factions:
– All factions now follow the Genin < Chiunin < Jounin hierarchy.
– Any instances of Jounin as "Jonin" have been changed to Jounin.
– All instances of Chunin have been changed to Chuunin.
– All faction members now have a chance to have a bounty of varying size, scaling with rank in hierarchy.
Sand Ninjas:
– Captialised the "N" on ninja in the faction name! (definitely important)
– Sand Ninjas now wear duststorm resistant headgear.
– regular Sand Ninjas are now Sand Ninja Genin.
– Added Sand Ninja Chunin.
– Sand Ninja Oni renamed to Suna.
– Sand Ninjas joinable, talk to Suna in the Cactus Den to learn more.
– Quest line for strengthening the Sand Ninjas. (When Suna decides to move, may need to import because the game mechanics are kind of limiting this can happen up to 2x)
Black Dragon Ninjas:
– Added Black Dragon Chunin.
– Added Black Dragon Jounin.
– Dimak and Buzan are slightly stronger.
– Small roaming squads added to the Border Zone.
Black Desert Ninjas:
– Faction renamed to Cloud Ninjas for consistency.
– Outfitted with Fog Masks so they don’t choke to death on home turf
– added Cloud Ninja Chunin.
– added Cloud Ninja Jounin.
– added Kumoko who is now the leader of the Cloud Ninjas and has a bounty on her head.
– added a base in the Black Desert where Kumoko and her retinue reside.
– Cloud Ninja raids will attack your outpost if your base is close enough to theirs and Kumoko is alive and free.
Onyx Ninjas:
– Onyx ninjas added in The Hook.
-Their leader Spectre can be found in their base, and turned in for a bounty.
All in all I think each faction comes out a little bit stronger than previously. The Cloud Ninjas in particular are a pretty strong bunch and Kumoko’s bounty reflects that. Feedback is welcome.
