Oni and Dragon Clans
This mod adds 2 factions, 3 new weapons, altered vanilla armor,
3 unique recruits, 3 possible game starts, and enhanced vanilla races that are only part of the Dragon and Oni clans.
Gear
The armors have improved stats from their base game version, and the weapons should be on par with
the Legendary Weapons mod, maybe a little weaker.
All custom gear can be seen in the 1st screenshot. There is a 4th weapon, but it’s just an altered ringed sabre.
Two new tier sets of weapons for each faction, each containing a Low, Mid, and High.
The only way to get high tier weapons is from defeating the clan head squad.
This squad might be tough, the entire squad is equipped with at least full specialist armor.
Factions
Oni:
This faction is led by Wodred. They are violent and will attack on sight just for the sake of fighting.
Oni clan members have a 1.2x increase to thier strength stat.
Their altered armor has an Oni head on most pieces, and favors a dark red highlight color.
Home Location: The Pits East (This is where Wodred’s squad will spawn, though it should be rare.)
Other Locations: Flats Lagoon, Stobe’s Gamble, Stobe’s Garden, The Crags, The Pits
Dragon:
This faction is led by Ike. They are strict clan, but much more peaceful and will even heal strangers in need.
Dragon clan members have a 1.2x increase to their dexterity stat.
Their altered armor has a Dragon on most pieces, and favors a blue highlight color.
Home Location: The Hook (This is where Ike’s squad will spawn, though it should be rare.)
Other Locations: Bonefields, Flats Lagoon, High Bonefields, South Wetlands, Stobe’s Gamble
You will find factions roaming the world as a squad in 3 tiers.
-Tier 1: A training squad led by a warrior.
-Tier 2: A warrior squad led by an elder.
-Tier 3: The clan head squad, led by the clan head.
Each squad has a chance of having an Elite version of any unit in the squad, better stats and armor grade.
The elite warriors will wear full samurai armor.
Recruits
Three guaranteed recruits will spawn in specific locations, one of them is not in the cities mentioned below.
This mod should be setup to have a chance to spawn an Oni or Dragon recruit anytime a city refreshes it’s spawns,
which I honestly don’t know when that happens.
These recruits do not have unique dialogue beyond the recruitment dialogue.
Recruit Spawn Locations (Supposed to be rare):
Dragon Recruit – Drifter’s Last, Clownsteady, Catun, Mourn
Oni Recruit – The Hub, Flats Lagoon, Black Scratch, Shark, Squin
Enhanced Races
Most vanilla playable races, excluding the skeletons and some hives, have an enhanced version.
Which means some better base stats, more part health, faster heal, slower hunger rate, self-heal ability,
and no negative stats. These enhanced races make up the members of the Dragon and Oni clans.
That should be the only ones you will come across besides who you start the game with, and the 5 recruits.
These races can be selected from any game start that doesn’t limit you to a specific race.
The Dragon Clan will called Hero.
The Oni Clan will be called Anti-Hero.
Game Starts
New race called Legends. Contains an extra enhanced Greenlander(Hero) and Scorchlander(Anti-Hero).
Extra enhanced because they have even more part health and growth bonuses than the other enhanced races.
The Hero subrace is for the Dragon clan.
The Anti-Hero subrace is for the Oni clan.
Assassinated Oni Trainee:
After managing to find and be accepted by the Oni Clan you and a few others were sent into battle against
the only other group that has managed to gain the same life powers in this land, the Dragon Clan.
Before your squad even made their first stop in the neighboring city you were ambushed.
You wake up nearly naked in a pile of blood, it seems all has been taken from you.
But why do you live? How could an ambush that was obviously sent by your own clan fail in ensuring your death?
And why does your life power feel stronger than ever?
Exiled Dragon Trainee:
Once thought to be the most talented and promising trainee of the Dragon Clan and even receiving special
training from Elite Elders, you have been exiled for continuing to never finish off the Oni Clan members
after your victories in battle. To be exiled is to be stripped of all connections to the clan, which has
left you weaponless and in rags, but it seems you have gained a portion of life power beyond what the Dragon Clan
knows about. Your adventure starts here.
Oni Dragon: (The Oni Dragon start is the only way to get both of these characters)
The meeting of two opposing clan member should always be in battle, but not this time.
Both of them were abandoned by their clan in one way or another, but ended up stronger because of it.
Sensing the strong life power within the other, they’ve come together, with different ideals,
but dedicated and trully happy to have found an ally in this world.

Chinese dragon art was found on pinclipart.
The origin of the oni head I have not been able to find again. Let me know if you come across it.
Over Thanksgiving I started making a sword in Blender, and then I had most of December 2019 off work,
