Ikarus 260/280T trolleybus
Ikarus 280 T is the trolleybus version of the famous Ikarus 280 articulated bus, around 380 units were produced between 1975 and 1992. Besides being widely used in Hungary (Budapest, Szeged, Debrecen), it was also exported to Bulgaria, East Germany, North Korea, Romania and the Soviet Union.
In this release, I also included the experimental Ikarus 260 T as a bonus. The Ikarus 260 T was the first Hungarian trolleybus design, using ZiU-5 electic equipment. However, the 260 T never entered mass production, with only two prototypes built in 1974-1975 for evaluation in Hungary and East Germany. Nevertheless, several Ikarus 260 diesel buses were later converted to trolleybus, most notably in North Korea.
