Durf’s Music Maker
Left keyboard is note selection (which number to write into memory)
Center counter value is ticks length per 1/8th note
Tick buttons to the right (bottom orange) are note keys to write into memory.
Press a tick button to enter the selected note
value, into memory, for the tick duration pressed.
Button 1 is 1/8th note.
Button 2 is twice as long
Button 3 is 3/8th note.
Button 4 is a half note.
etc. x1, x2, x3, x4, x5, x6, x7, x8, x16!
The last orange tick button is twice as long as the one before.
The row of grey tick buttons does adds a blank space of the selected duration (no notes are added to the memory, but the slot is moved ahead for timing)
The very right side is just a testing area with a complete example song.
When you are finished creating the music track in the memory panel, you can cut off the memory panel (bottom left panel is a
duplicate) to weld onto your build.
Remember to give the black input for instrument, and switch for totebot AND counter block for memory slot! Black counter, white panel, white counter, logic switch, and smart totebot = song.
The tick buttons near the top are for adjusting your current time in the song.
White will bring you to the beginning, slot 0.
The colors count up/down.
Black will reset to slot 0 + delete everything in memory (full reset).
If you make some smart totebot head music, add the tag "SmartMusic" somewhere in
our description so it’s easy to find! (or send it to me on discord or
something)
