Corrected Dialogue
Corrected Dialogue is a small, I M M E R S I V E mod that makes the subtitles of some leaders’ spoken lines closer to their literal speech (give or take a few liberties). Changes range from tweaking minor inconsistencies to replacing sentences that are completely different. No longer will your immersion break as leaders threaten you in a way that isn’t what you are shown.
Shoutouts to ITcore for his Immersive Dialogue, the skeleton of which provided me the knowledge to make this, and to user Rexx23ify for his skills in the Khmer language. Literal translations used in the mod are courtesy of the Civilization Wiki.
If you happen to be aware of any inconsistencies that aren’t covered by this mod (which I just know there are), please tell me about them in the comments or the pinned discussion below. There are only so many translations that are well-documented.
