Description:

In vanilla, daemonic possession mechanic was badly designed – it was rather punishing for a player and more sense has to start a new game as another Dark Elf LL and confederate Malus later, than start campaign with him. I decided to redesign it a bit – to make Malus campaign more enjoyable for the player, more connected with playstyle of Dark Elves, as well as give more reasonable disadvantages of demonic influence…

First, corruption – when Tz’arkan’s power is high, chaos corruption spread in all regions of Hag Graef faction. I think, that it is logically clear that stronger daemon = more influential he is. However, when Malus is not controlled by Tz’arkan, corruption in your provinces decrease. Alternatively, you can invest large sums of money to build temples to balance it, but i think that buying a potion still will be unavoidable.

Ability Tz’arkan is available earlier, at "High Possession" level. I kept some of vanilla bonuses of possession mechanic and I tried to balance them a little…

Moreover, instead buff or debuff all melee units in faction, possession mechanic grants benefits for Cold Ones (Knights and Chariots) – low possession makes them cheaper, while high possession improve their melee attack. In my opinion, it is more thematic for Malus and fills the niche among all Dark Elf LL buffs.

This mod should work with most mods, but I had to modify base game effect_bundles_to_effects_junctions_tables – without that, my mod does not work correctly.
